That's it now. I've reached my target and lost 22kg.
Just toning up now but that'll have to wait a bit as I've broken my foot and rib.
Also only a few weeks left till my daughter does her 11+ exams then we drop the bombshell that their happy family is being blown apart.
If I survive that then I should see the back of the to be ex wife in 2 months when she moves out.
I shall be celebrating with some cigar purchases and some well earned socialising.
Getting near the end of this painful experience so I hope it'll all be over in 6 months and be a happily divorced dad.

Impressive, - always look on the bright side and see the positive stuff that comes out of it [emoji41]Originally posted by Kickback View PostSome good news in this sorry saga.
Since the announcement in Feb I have now got a regular running routine with a 20 mile a week total over 4 runs. Much improved fitness and best of all have dropped 18kg in weight.
Got to get myself ready for life number 2.

Thanks all.
So sad being at home looking after my kids whilst she's out partying.
Got a couple of weeks before she's arranged to take the kids away for 2 weeks holiday. Will give me some me time to sort stuff out and clear the inevitable crap one accumulates over 20 years.
I will get a large cigar order ready for then as I'm out at the moment. Give my tongue time to rest.
Onwards but you can't help looking back after so long.

Sorry to hear...
It might not seem like it now, but eventually everything will be better than being trapped in an endless conflict. Seek help from friends and family and maybe counselling, it all helps...

Sad new but if that's the final decision then I guess you have to accept it & move fwd. Get legal advice asap, from a family lawyer & chin up you have tried the best you can; if the other gives up there's sod all you can do but accept it. There will be posiitve change ahead but no dounbt that seems a long time in the distance at the moment. As Henrik said, you can vent your spleen on us, after all there but for the Grace of God go all of us.
