    The older one was noticeably heavier/ more creamy consistency. It had an intensity, the more I savoured the more it numbed my mouth, but without losing flavour if that makes sense. Strong stuff.

    300ml left in this 1990s(?) Talisker 10 yo map label bottle. Cork disintegrates on opening! Still, taste is superb & a sieve gets the bits out.

    Such depth of flavour in a peated whisky my favorite. Same as a heavy latakia tobacco
