Picked this up from the Whisky Shop in Oxford. Sampled the non sherry casked version in the shop and went for this off the back of that.

Had a few nips out of it so far and its bloody gorgeous.

Funny as when I started out my Whisky journey a number of years back I thought peated Whiskys were awful! Now they're my favorite!

Got to love Springbank, such a beautiful dram & such a rarity. Kilkerran 12 is another delicious Campbeltown whisky

I’ve got the 30 yr blend with Butterscotch in the title (same line) and rate it. I’ve also had the Aeons, Fire, etc one which was good. So I suppose I need to add this one to my list!

IMG_6177.jpg Finished this bottle of Slane last night (with help!) & worth a try if you like a Sherry cask.

The Campbeltown loch is lovely neat warmed up in the glass. Getting through the bottle too fast. So started on the Benromach. Needs a bit of water this one! Also lovely. Luxury in a glass. Tiniest touch of smoke. Which works wonders.

Tasty, if quite expensive, macallan 25 sherry at The Ned.

Added another k16 as found at RRP. And added another as recommended by our very own mcd.

The price variance on this is crazy. 65 up to 180. Nonsense.

I saw that ha_banos previously enjoyed one of the Italian wine Tomatins.. so that is top of my list at the moment!
The barolo. I'm not a seasoned scotch drinker. Early journey for me. But that Tomatin was nice. I'm enjoying this too. Not so sweet. But smooth and tasty. Got to try first really. Get some miniatures in.
