Thought about this thread when on holiday. Cutty Sark, Haig and Dimple being mentioned. id never tried them but own some bottles of Dimple.

Funnily enough all 3 are popular where i stayed in Corfu - Haig being the most popular. i cant say i didnt enjoy them because i did - just cant report back on my thoughts, too many beers and local uzo, koum quat etc clouded my taste buds!

they must be an export Whisky - like Johnnie Walker. thats rare to find locally and my usual drink abroad!

just saying, i was thinking about you all when away lol

did they still have the wire on them when you worked there? often wondered if it was a machine or done by hand!

Git a bottle of Cuttysark. Not my thing at all. Can't see me drinking it neat so will have to add coke to hide the taste.
I would get another bottle of Swing though, that was lovely.

    thats a bloody nice set!

i wonder why Bushmills dint join the GOT bandwagon, its the only distillery in the (filming) area

if you dont mind me asking, where and how much - seeing them online from ?420 to ?1500+ but pretty much out of stock everywhere
All of the distilleries that participated are owned by Diageo. I believe they sold Bushmills ?

I paid ?399 in total for the 8, pre-ordered from the whisky shop and amazon.

ive always thought the label on the bottle was too perfect, comparing it with ones ive seen online. was told they range from 60s to 80s
