Definitely Neil. It was you Aberdeen boys that introduced me to the Glendronach at the HERF. Beautiful.
I've had a couple of bottles of the Dalmore before and really enjoy it.

It was on my list but with the tone of the reviews changing due to the new price point I have given it a swerve too.
A shame because it was so highly regarded at around ?40. I picked up a Glendronach Allardice and a Dalmore 15 instead.

You won't go wrong with those John. Both perfect Christmas drams imo.

But the recent batch is nice but nothing special the 56 or 58 were fantastic and in demand...but price stated the same from what I remember..

What ever it is...it's a god dam shame.

The earlier batches were stellar. I did think the quality was decreasing as the batch numbers (and price?!) rose. The last bottle I had was quite bitter unfortunately. Certainly won't be buying it at the price it is now.

I share your pain. The Abunadh is one of my favourite whiskies. I can't understand why it's increased so much in price. It's not like it's an age statement or anything like that where I can understand that there can be shortages because of demand. I guess it could be because people buy it up for the batch numbers perhaps?

But the recent batch is nice but nothing special the 56 or 58 were fantastic and in demand...but price stated the same from what I remember..

What ever it is...it's a god dam shame.

Tell me about it, I paid ?36 back in 2015/16 now looking at ?70 - ?80. I like it, but not that much! A shame as it used to be great value for money. I'd recommend the Tamdhu Batch Strength as a good alternative or the Glenfarclas 105.
