Trying to finish a bottle of Dalmore King Alexander III. Overrated in my opinion; flat tasting and fairly one dimensional. The nose is considerably better than the actual taste, but drinkable.
Really good. I didn't know much about the process but feel like I do now. It was billed as 45 mins but actually took about 1hr 15. The guy who showed us round was brilliant, knowledgeable and enthusiastic. As samples we had a dram of the 14Yo and the baileys type one which wasn't for me. Would recommend if you are on Arran. In fact I would recommend Arran. Gorgeous Island.IMG-20170820-WA0002.jpg
I've only had the A'bunadh once and really enjoyed...Amazon had it on offer then again on prime day but they messed up the order as it was selling batch 56 and sent be 57...I told them.i wanted 56 so they sent me a replacement but they sent me 58 so called them up, they said keep it and they won't charge me...so ended up paying ?76 for ?150 whisky...can't argue with that [emoji41]
