Just finishing a bottle of Swing, inherited from my late father in law who worked for Diaggio

All of the distilleries that participated are owned by Diageo. I believe they sold Bushmills ?

That didnt last long. the only bought busmills about 10 or so years ago. was a 200 million deal if i remember, nice chunk for a small distillery! thanks for info scoob

bushmills is my goto and i even fell for the honey one - knowing it was a pure fad. id buy anything bushmills lol

i wonder why Bushmills dint join the GOT bandwagon, its the only distillery in the (filming) area

if you dont mind me asking, where and how much - seeing them online from ?420 to ?1500+ but pretty much out of stock everywhere

ive always thought the label on the bottle was too perfect, comparing it with ones ive seen online. was told they range from 60s to 80s

Used to bottle these at Whyte & Mackay. Horrible tasting whisky. Older stuff might have been better but hated the tasted and the ball ache of packaging it all up.

Was lucky enough enjoy this last night. It would appear that the bottle was about 70 years old according to the son of the first owner. Anyone have any input the age of the bottle?

If you haven't already you should try the Glendronach range of whiskies. Fantastic stuff.

Just looking at the tasting notes on some of these, and they do sound bloody delicious! I may have to grab a bottle to try!
