Currently enjoying an Oliva Serie V with a Woodford Reserve Double Oaked. I imagine it's a bourbon that will pair fairly well with any of the more full bodied sticks, would recommend for anyone with a taste for a bourbon 😋
Someone put me into this Taiwanese whisky! Supposed to be very good. With a slightly sweet porty finish. But I'll wait till I've tried some before going barreling in!
Unlike many of its rivals, Kavalan Concertmaster cannot trace its lineage to a distillery in Scotland. In fact, it rolled off the production line in Taiwan. This sumptuous single malt enjoyed extra maturation in Portuguese wine casks and the resultant whisky is characterised by charred tropical fruit, malty caramel and spicy plum.
